We thought we'd continue in her Grand-sire's "foot-steps" and give her an Irish name. Ciara (Kee-ra) means “dark” and implies “dark hair and brown eyes; and Keagan means “Descendant Of The Fiery One” which is fitting because she is rather precocious!

Keagan has a very nice fleece in shades of light and dark fawn with Vicuña markings. Her second fleece has a soft handle with beautifully crimped bundles and tested at AFD 16.2. with and SD of 3.7. :) She is solidly built with straight, square proportions. Keagan has grown into a beautiful dam who will be an asset to your herd. I just skirted last year's fleece and I'm happy to report a brightness with soft hand and slick to the touch. Very pretty and feels well-nourished! Her blanket for her recent clip was 5# with 1.5# neck fiber! That's awesome for a dam her size!! We are so proud of her.

Keagan's sire, Bruno is an extremely handsome macho as you would expect coming from genetic royalty like his legendary sire, El Nino, and having more legends as grandsires and great grandsires like Caligula, Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus, and Vengador. As you can see, this boy is STACKED with powerhouse genetics!!

Keagan's dam, Wee Bonnie Lass is squarely built with soft, springy fleece, a stylish head with upright bonnet, and striking presence. She has been a very attentive dam with loads of milk and colostrum which we expect she will pass along to Keagan just as her dam and her grand-dam did.

Keagan cushed readily at about 18 months but the breeding didn't take. We made the decision soon after that to give up the livestock business so haven't rebred her. I had intended to retain her for her outstanding fleece but have decided to keep only a choice few light enough to dye, and she really should be bred!! She comes with a full reproductive guarantee. We would like our girls to go to good homes and are willing to discuss any reasonable offers.

Notable Bloodlines: PCA Accoyo El Nino, PPPeruvian Sunipani, PPeruvian Caligula, Patagonia’s El Trauco, Shackleton, SA Peruvian Litigator, Accoyo American Kestrel, PCA Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus, Peruvian Hemingway, and Peruvian Gold Rush
